Phew, this has been quite the week! I flew up to Minneapolis on Thursday to sing in a friend's wedding. It was so great to see old college friends as well as students and staff at the University of Minnesota's Nav group. These past few weeks were challenging and discouraging, as I found myself often doubting if this is really where God wants me, and if full-time ministry is for me. I had the staff here pray that after being in Minneapolis with all my close friends, I would want to come back to Albuquerque, rather than longing to stay there at a place I am so familiar with. Well...my time up there was so encouraging and refreshing, and I'm so excited to head back to Albuquerque soon! Praise God! After my time in Minnesota, I flew to Denver, where we are now having our regional staff meeting for 3 days. What an exhausting week! However, it has been refreshing spiritually, and so neat to meet all the other staff in the region, and hear about what God is doing on their campuses.

Here are some various photos from the year so far. Some from surveying, our hike at the Sandia Mountain Crest, the Luau, Metro Staff meetings, and some from around campus! Enjoy the show! I'm so sorry it's been so long since I've given you an update! We've had a great past week and a half. I have to pull out my calendar to remember everything we've done! This is Leigh Ann and I at our booth during surveying: Here we are, ice blocking!! For those of you Midwestern-ers who've never heard of this, it's like sledding in the summer....riding down a hill on a block of ice! Leigh Ann and I at our Luau Party! Greetings! Thanks to all of you who have been reading my blog - it's so great to share these things with you! |
